The Lucknow We Come From

Lucknow has always been a city of refinement, of tehzeeb, poetry, and extraordinary craft. It was here, in the Mughal courts of the 17th century, that chikankari embroidery was nurtured into an art form of unparalleled delicacy. The city's artisans, called karigar, inherited this knowledge across generations, passing down not just technique but a way of seeing beauty in the smallest detail.

Every kurta and kurta set we create is the work of skilled karigar families based in and around Lucknow. Many of our artisans are women who have learned this craft from their mothers and grandmothers, embroidering at home, weaving their stories into every motif.
